How does South Beach Weight Loss work?

For eligible patients, choose between weight loss medications semaglutide or tirzepatide. Semaglutide is the FDA-approved active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®, and tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Zepbound™ & Mounjaro®. Both work by mimicking a natural hormone that targets a region of the brain that affects hunger and appetite. It also affects how fast food moves through your GI tract. So, patients taking these have less hunger and cravings. As a result, they eat less and lose weight!

How much does South Beach Weight Loss cost?

Price is determined by which medication that you choose. Prices include the cost of medication, your personalized telehealth consultation, and all injection supplies needed. You do not need insurance.

How do I take my weight loss medication?

Both the semaglutide and tirzepatide require a once-per-week self-administered injection. Your home-delivery will include syringes topped with a super-thin needle and instructions. There are also numerous videos on YouTube demonstrating how easy this is…

How much weight can I lose?

People taking the medication semaglutide can lose on average between 10%-15% of their body weight.  In contrast, taking tirzepatide can help you lose 15%-20% of your body weight. Most patients see results within the first few weeks of starting the program.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Absolutely! If you’re not satisfied with our weight loss program, then you can cancel at any time. Once you cancel, you will no longer be charged the monthly fee, and you will not receive any additional shipments.

Does South Beach Weight Loss use real medication?

Yes. South Beach Weight Loss uses a licensed compounding pharmacy that creates these medications in a sterile environment using top-quality ingredients. The medication that you receive will come directly from the compounding pharmacy. Please note, the medication that is prescribed is a generic, compounded formulation and is not associated with Novo Nordisk™ or Eli Lilly TM or the brand-name medications Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound™ or Mounjaro®.

Can I use semaglutide or tirzepatide if I have pre-existing medical conditions?
